The Hollywood Film Awards founded in 1997, honors excellence in filmmaking and traditionally signals the official launch of the awards season. The 18th annual HFA gala was held at the Hollywood Palladium on November 14th, 2014. It was aired on CBS which marked the first ever HFA ceremony to be televised.
